Continuing off from my last video, this is a coloring tutorial I did on Adobe Photoshop.

First off, apologies for the low resolution; my laptop can only take a couple of minutes recording a video, and it already keeps on lagging with Photoshop, Google Chrome, and Livestream Procaster open. Second, I conveniently saved the .sai file as .psd in Paint Tool SAI previously, so now I can open the file in Photoshop and render it from there. The coloring process usually takes more than an hour to do, but since I sped up the video to 800x, it only takes several minutes here to finish. By the way, there’s a segment near the end that was cut off because the recorder crashed as I was about to put the textures. In any case, I hope this helps!

A few old works I did last year.

Since I’ve been really busy with work and part-time studies, I haven’t really been able to update my portfolio recently. In any case, here are some doodles I did while working. Can’t wait for December to arrive so that I can finally get studying for the charterholder license exam over with.

Made a fan art of Samus Aran from Metroid, together with 2 tutorial videos. Line art done in Paint Tool SAI and coloring/final editing in Adobe Photoshop.

Today I experimented with Livestream Procaster for a simple line art tutorial.

I first scanned my work from a notebook, then colorized it on Photoshop. I opened Paint Tool SAI for the line art and shading. The first few minutes were for the foundational line art, followed by a long, tedious inking session.
